Melissa Errico Celebrates Stephen Sondheim March 22 at The Green Room 42

No One Is Alone: Melissa Errico Remembers Stephen Sondheim also features Max von Essen.

Tony nominee Melissa Errico celebrates what would have been the 92nd birthday of the late, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim March 22 at 7 PM at The Green Room 42 with an evening entitled No One Is Alone: Melissa Errico Remembers Stephen Sondheim. The event will be available for both in-person audiences and to stream.

The Broadway favorite is joined by Tony nominee Max von Essen (Evita, An American in Paris, Falsettos) for the concert. Tedd Firth is the musical director.

Errico’s history with Mr. Sondheim began when he selected her to star as Dot in Sunday in the Park With George at The Kennedy Center. She subsequently played Clara in Passion at Classic Stage Company, followed by the City Center Encores! production of Do I Hear A Waltz? Her 2018 album, Sondheim Sublime, led to sold-out concert dates around the country, and in 2020 she was featured on the PBS special Poetry in America, in which she sang “Finishing the Hat” and discussed  Mr. Sondheim and his lyrics.

A Tony nominee for her performance in Amour, Errico has also been seen on Broadway in Anna Karenina, My Fair Lady, High Society, Dracula the Musical, and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.
