Tedd Firth, piano; An email from Stephen Sondheim came to me, days before our recording sessions, that said, “I can only say, thank you for wanting to do it.” And then he added, “And I trust Tedd totally.” I thought to myself, “so do I, oh, so do I.” I can hardly describe the many evenings of making live music with Tedd Firth where the sounds from the piano were overwhelmingly beautiful and sensitive.
